“NEW YORK — The first ex-Guantanamo detainee to be tried in a civilian court has avoided solitary confinement in the so-called Supermax prison.
The Bureau of Prisons website shows Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani is at the United States Penitentiary in Florence, Colo. The high-security facility is in the same complex as the Supermax but keeps most of its prisoners in its general population.
Ghailani is serving a life sentence for his role in the August 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa….”
Supposedly Ghailani is has been a model prisoner. Of course, that would be in the eye of the beholder. To allow this terrorist free reign in a prison among other inmates is an outrage.
Rest assured that this Islamic jihadist will not waste a moment. Ahmed Ghailani will radicalize fellow inmates thereby producing future jihadists.
Ghailani’s presence in the general population of a United States penitentiary high security complex presents a threat to our nation’s security and must be viewed as such by the Obama administration.
Dogs should be kept under restraint.
