Theresa May, the UK’s own swamp critter has betrayed the citizens of the UK who voted for Brexit.

Brexit has been betrayed, Theresa must go.
Every Monday, the WoW! community and our invited guests weigh in at the Forum, short takes on a major issue of the day, the culture, or daily living. This week’s question: Are Sanctions On Countries Trading With Iran Wise Policy?
Don Surber:Yes. Given that the Iranian protests are in their second month, there is a chance for a regime change. Women are doffing their headgear, and drivers are parking their trucks. The Grand Bazaar in Teheran shut down. 40 years ago, merchants in the Grand Bazaar backed the Iranian Revolution. Now they seem to want a regime change.
The only influence the United States has is in commerce. President Trump wisely is avoiding too much public support, and I doubt we are doing clandestine operations, as well. Why risk being associated with the rebellion? Any conection betwen us and them will end the revolution. The one thing we can do is not trade with Iran, and tom punish those who do.
This is the latest sign that the New World Order failed. Brexit, Trump, Macron, AMLO in Mexico, and now this. There are many other examples of regime changes because the old order failed The People.
Patrick O’Hannigan:I wish I could be more original on this question than to say that I agree with Don, but — I agree with Don!
Deterrence does not have to be exclusively in the military realm. The sanctions game (and it is a game, of sorts) amounts to “Leave the gun –Take the cannoli” writ large.
Rob Miller: Oh, I think it’s imperative. Iran’s economy is in free fall. No one wants the rial, inflation is rampant and the prices of food and other necessities is skyrocketing. That’s a big part of what’s behind the protests. Iran will not be able to continue to financially afford adventures abroad in Yemen, Syria or Lebanon for too much longer, and even Iraq’s kingmaker Muqtada al-Sadr is inching away from Iran somewhat. This will get even worse once Trump’s sanctions on countries buying Iran’s oil and natural gas take effect. Iran also my not have the funds needed to continue to be Hamas’s pay master along with Erdogan. The EU, BTW are looking like they’re reluctantly going along with the sanctions. They need our markets far more than Iran’s, and their choice will boil down to paying Putin’s atrocious prices or buying U.S. LPGD.
I also think our President and his team members are making a mistake by NOT informing the American people what a hideous regime this is…how it brutalizes its own people, the corruption of the Ayatollahs, and that Iran is not in any sense a ‘democracy. They need to explain that Iran has been in a state of war with America since 1979. They need to tell the American people that Iran never actually even signed th eso called ‘Iran Deal.’ They need to remind the American people about Iran’s complicity in 9/11, and how the rhetoric of both Ayatollahs Khomeini and Khamanei focus on the Twelver Sect’s open embrace of apocalypse as a necessity for the Hidden Imam to return to rule the world for their brand of Islam.
The days of Iran’s despotic regime aren’t over yet. That won’t happen until the Army turns. But this is a great way to get the ball rolling.
Bookworm:I’m going to be so original that I’ll say I agree with both Don and Patrick! Honestly, I’d love to add some unique, wonderful insight, but I think they said it all.
What I will tack on, because I’m petty, is that one of Obama’s most significant failings as president happened early in his administration when he refused to give the Green Revolution any moral support. As we know now, the self-centered Obama had his own grand dream of “solving” Iran and was content to let people die in the streets rather than risk losing the halo he envisioned for himself.
Laura Rambeau Lee:I must say I agree with everyone, also. Sanctions hit them where it hurts most and can often lead to cooperation where and when we need it.
Well, there it is!

Unified Patriots by Vassar Bushmills
Every college kid remembers when he turned 21 because it was the day he could use his own drivers’ license to get into the Boom-Boom Room.
That was in the first semester of my sophomore year, 1966.
There were a lot of laws, even ancient ones, that were in place then that are no longer valid.
I’m sure you’ve heard the axiom, attributed to Churchill, “If you are not a liberal at 20, you have no heart. If you are not Conservative by 40, you have no brain”.
Now Sir Winston was aiming that at English public school boys, their version of Ivy Leaguers, and not at working class people. But American working class people did have a similar version of the same theme. Class distinctions were not the same in America, for children of working class people did go to college.
Of course this was what always distinguished Americans from the rest of the world. Even our noblest thinkers, educators and business successes had a coal miner, welder or dirt farmer in their family tree, unlike the English.
When I went off to college my dad simply warned me I’d act stupid for awhile, “so be careful”. But he wasn’t afraid of me slipping into the Boom Boom Room on a fake ID. When he turned 21 he was on a troop ship headed for North Africa, my pregnant mom back in Cincinnati at her sister’s house to wait out the war. Unlike Churchill’s class, he was more fearful that I’d fall prey to “ideas” that swam deep around college campuses, and become a Democrat, or worse, a liberal. He knew I’d bump into that sort at college, but hoped that I would reject what they taught, so that after college, I’d find a nice girl, get a job, start a family, and vote for the Barry Goldwater of my choice.
That was how it had always been once maturity, duty, and responsibility settled it, the same thing Churchill was talking about.
In 1964 we all looked the same on campus. You couldn’t tell an engineer or pre-med student from an English or poly-sci major[…]
Veterans’ Tales by Vassar Bushmills
(This is another installment of one of our sponsors, Mike Collins, and still swaps stories with this mates from the old unit. Reunions and much beer involved.-VB)
This is the 50th Anniversary of our slog to build LZ Karen.
On the 4th we were OPCON to 3/21st Inf but were dropped off in the wrong place without right maps and wrong radio frequencies and/or were out of radio range. This was smack in the middle of the Que Son valley.
I remember Patterson and McDonald climbed up to a PF camp, trying to find out where we were. They managed to find that out and got a general idea where everyone else was supposed to be.
Then we had hump all those klicks to rejoin the artillery and the rest of the unit, most of the way without commo and not knowing where we were until we got back on the maps we did have. Cluster Fuck. We hunkered down for the night with the tracks and arty. Remember watching the firebases in the area celebrating the 4th with some serious wasting of ammo.
Next day we did that miserable, all-day hump into the Heip Duc Valley. Got to LZ Karen location at sundown and dug foxholes all night with those 175 mm and 8″ guns blasting away continuously. Memorable.
Oh! Did I mention it was also stinking hot both days.

A little more than a decade ago, after coming to grips with suspicions and newfound revelations that the Democratic Party had betrayed Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, middle class Americans, I became angry and then I became a blogger.
My earlier posts reflect the outrage that I felt by the betrayal of Democratic leaders, in particular, the Congressional Black Caucus and the media. I was besides myself that my suspicions which began around 1990 with Bill Clinton were true. This leads me to Brandon Straka, a young New Yorker, former Democrat, Caucasian male and member of the LGBT community.
Straka is the founder of the #Walkaway Campaign, an endeavor that sheds light on the illusion, malice and deception that is the Democratic Party currently en route to becoming the Democratic Socialist Party of USA.
Like myself, Straka was shocked to learn that the mainstream media lied, in particular, their war against President Donald J. Trump which portrays the President as the worst sort of human being.
Such revelations tends to force open a door that leads one to ponder, “well, what the hell else have they been lying to me about?” It is at this point that things begin to get real and getting real is very bad for the party of Jim Crow, Dred Scott and the Black Codes.
Getting real forces one to re-think everything. Further, it tends to set one on a path of no return. To be honest, where Straka and others walking away from the Democratic Party are heading remains to be seen and the Republican Party had better keep that in mind. Do not assume that fleeing Democrats are going to run toward Republicans without the Republican Party giving them a reason to.
In the case of Straka, I believe that it began with the left’s brainwashing and attacks on white privilege. (I often wondered if and when white Democrats would finally say, “I refuse to be self-loathing because you choose me to be.”)
Enter Straka, a Hillary Clinton supporters, who is also sending the message that it is okay not to buy into the Democratic Party’s guilt-tripping illusion of white privilege.
…Straka explained that even before the election he started to have some misgivings about the direction the left was taking. He disagreed with the focus on identity politics, as well as political correctness.
Staka didn’t fully abandon the left until a friend showed him a video of liberal media bias. He was struck at how dishonest the press was in its effort to undermine the Trump campaign in 2016:
“A friend of mine came to me and showed me something that pointed out clearly how dishonest the media was in the Donald Trump campaign. How they would isolate moments from his behavior and make it appear as though he were a racist or a bigot or whatever. Now, I didn’t realize this. I thought CNN told the truth. I thought MSNBC told the truth. I thought Rachel Maddow told the truth. So this was mind blowing to me. And once I realized this I went on a quest to find out more, what other things aren’t they being honest about. Which it turns out was quite a lot.”
Staka reached out to friends on the left to talk about what he discovered, but said he was “met with hostility and contempt.” He even lost friends over the issue[…]
“He even lost friends over the issue…” I know that feeling well. The contacts in my address book was cut in half, my emails and phone calls were blocked after informing family members, neighbors, co-workers and so-called friends that I was (a) not voting for Barack Obama and (b) leaving the Democratic Party but not before they informed me that the whole world was laughing at me because they thought that I was stupid. The patterns of response is nasty on the line of this:
You can imagine the vindication once Donald Trump was elected president.
END OF SIDEBAR
As expected, the Communist media complex is not handling this very well.
