While Progressives, the GOP establishment, pundits, globalists, lobbyists, the Communist media complex and whoever else lurking in the swamp despises President Donald J. Trump, the first president in decades to put Americans and American interests first, those of us fed up with the cesspool, correction bureaucracy that has long abandoned us feel otherwise.
Regardless of what is reported by the Communist media complex courtesy of scripted talking points provided by the deep state, President Trump has during his first ten months in office successfully walked back many of Barack Obama’s burdensome and unconstitutional regulations put into place by fiat that enabled globalists to prosper, redistributed the nation’s wealth, thrust the middle class into poverty and the nation’s poor furthers down the road to serfdom while landing the jackboot of tyranny upon the throats of hundreds of thousands, correction millions of Americans.
Obama’s policies opened the borders even wider to illegal aliens who only want a free ride and our enemies who want to leech off our wealth while at the same time plotting our demise. It is because of the dates January 20, 2009 through November 8, 2016 that millions of Americans exhaled deeply on the morning of November 9, 2016 with the revelations in mind that we are on our way back.
It was the early morning of November 9, 2016 after the Associated Press called the 2016 Presidential Election for then Republican Party candidate, Donald J. Trump that George Soros, the deep state and Barack Obama began hatching marching orders to destroy and thwart the agenda of the incoming President, Donald Trump the man, his family and his legacy because if anyone could lift us out of the hell that Obama spent the last eight years building, it would be the businessman, Trump, a threat to the swamp.
Trump is not perfect, a little raw and for the first time in decades, a President that in spite of his imperfections was elected by the people and not the puppet masters on the 7th Floor and swamp dwellers lurking in the shadows.
I ran across an article while perusing the internet written by Jeffrey Lord of The American Spectator that begins with the quote above by Edward Stuyvesant Bragg who as the Spectator‘s article points out, spoke those words during a speech he made at the 1884 Democratic National Convention when “selected to second the nomination of New York Governor Grover Cleveland for president.”
Following a brief history of the quote, how it pertains to former President Grover Cleveland, 22nd and 24th President of the United States and relates to the 45th President of the United States, is The American Spectator ‘s announcement that President Donald J. Trump has been chosen as their Man of the Year.
The American Spectator by Jeffrey Lord (excerpt)
The American Spectator’s founder and editor-in-chief R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr. is pleased to announce that President Donald J. Trump has been chosen as The American Spectator’s Man of the Year.
The list of enemies Trump has made is a who’s who and what’s what of exactly the people, institutions, or issues that millions of Americans have come to detest. Which doesn’t begin to describe the positive policy changes he has brought to an America utterly disgusted with decades of a bipartisan ruling class elitism. From the liberal media to the GOP Establishment to the sacred cows of political correctness and identity politics and more, the President has been absolutely fearless in taking on people or subjects other presidents not to mention GOP Establishment politicians would instinctively avoid…
This is an administration that, not yet a year old, has piled up one accomplishment after another.[…]
