Three days ago, the NAACP issued a press release (excerpt below) standing by Rachel Doležal president of the NAACP -Spokane division.
Baltimore, MD – For 106 years, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has held a long and proud tradition of receiving support from people of all faiths, races, colors and creeds. NAACP Spokane Washington Branch President Rachel Dolezal is enduring a legal issue with her family, and we respect her privacy in this matter. One’s racial identity is not a qualifying criteria or disqualifying standard for NAACP leadership. The NAACP Alaska-Oregon-Washington State Conference stands behind Ms. Dolezal’s advocacy record. In every corner of this country, the NAACP remains committed to securing political, educational, and economic justice for all people, and we encourage Americans of all stripes to become members and serve as leaders in our organization….
Several hours ago, Doležal resigned posting the following letter on the Spokane-NAACP’s Facebook page:
Progressive talking points as espoused by Al Sharpton, fellow race baiters including the Communist loons at MSNBC who came out in support of Doležal with Sharpton going so far as to lay blame at the feet of hers parents backfired as the outrage across social media continues unabated with no signs of letting up sending a clear message that no one is buying the spin.
In addition, absent from the media cycle is that over the weekend, Kitura McClure, a member of NAACP-Spokane posted a petition online over at Moveon.Org. demanding that Doležal resign until the matter is cleared up. A protest was scheduled to be held at last night’s (Monday evening) at the NAACP meeting in Spokane but on Sunday, Doležal headed off the charge by cancelling the meeting.
Shortly after her resignation, the Smoking Gun broke the story that Doležal once sued a historically black university in Washington, DC , alleging that Howard University discriminated against her (go figure) on the grounds of “race, pregnancy, family responsibilities and gender, as well as retaliation.” (That was before she decided she was Black.) Did she leave any cards in the deck?
The suit filed under her married name, Rachel Moore was dismissed by the District of Columbia’s Superior Court and the decision in 2005 was upheld by the Court of Appeals.
The saga of Rachel Dolezal continues as allegations made by the now former president of the NAACP-Spokane division to play the victim card backfired along with the revelations that Dolezal lied about her heritage. (Now if only the race/gender/class/victim card would backfire across the board, this nation would be in a better place. The labels, the games, the scams and overall lack of intolerance of those who coin a label a month is destroying the
country world. All hell has broken loose and it’s gone global but I digress.)
It was just a few days ago that Doležal, the elitist in an interview with Sky News stated of her deception [my emphasis on deception], “I don’t give two s*** what you guys think.”
Dave Meany, director of media relations at Eastern Washington University announced that Doležal, an adjunct professor was no longer employed at the university; nor is she any longer a freelance writer at Inlander, a weekly newspaper.
“By contract, the part-time teaching position held by Rachel Dolezal in Eastern Washington University’s Africana Education program ended Friday, June 12, 2015, as scheduled. She is no longer employed by the university.”
Jacob H. Fries is the editor of the Inlander wrote:
As one of the many organizations that put their faith in Dolezal, we, too, feel manipulated and deceived. We also feel empathy for Dolezal — she is a person, not an idea, and the global shaming she’s enduring is sizable — but truth is truth. For journalists especially, truth and the trust that comes from sharing it are sacrosanct, and we can provide no shelter for anyone who threatens that covenant. As a result, Dolezal no longer writes for this paper.…
The deception continues…..
- Rachel Dolezal told student that ex-husband forced her to live as a white woman
- Spokane officials investigating Rachel Dolezal’s behavior on ombudsman panel
- Rachel Dolezal’s Brother Says She Warned: “Don’t Blow My Cover”
I suspect that like most lying social justice loons, Doležal slept well.
Deception and fraud being the order of the day.
Adding to all of the above, Doležal’s parents were interviewed last night by Megyn Kelly of the Kelly File.
