Cannot say that I saw this one coming. Fox News gets a front row seat in the White House pressroom. Got to love it.
No one can explain how the left must be feeling right now better than my friend, JP.
“It was a very difficult decision,’ the White House Correspondents’ Association said in a statement. “The board received requests from Bloomberg and NPR in addition to Fox for relocation to the front row and felt all three made compelling cases. But the board ultimately was persuaded by Fox’s length of service and commitment to the White House television pool.”
Clearly doing the right thing and being fair and balanced has its rewards.
As for the lemmings, take a number and get in line behind this guy.

Hey! I know that guy. He comments at Little Green Footballs, now that Charles has Leftisized his blog, once again.
The ever loving tolerant left, continues to bang its head against the wall and upon realization that they are indeed awake, resort to doing that which the left is known to do, i.e., downplay. No surprise there.
The truth remains that Fox is a “news” station. That being said, I stand what is perceived to be my so-called “unwarranted happiness.”
Actually I’ve never commented at LGF–but there seem to be lots of folks (including two Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, a few politicians, the highest-ranking officer killed in the Civil War, and my father, among others) with whom I share a name.
But your photo looks familiar, too, so perhaps we’ve both commented on another site before now. Highly possible.
bydesign, I’ve had time to think about this a bit more–and for the life of me, I still can’t figure out why you think the result of the “musical chairs” is a big deal, why this is a particularly good thing for Fox (especially considering the seating chart as a whole, as I did with my original post), or even why you think Fox did better in the shift than NPR.
I’d welcome a more complete explanation. Thanks.
