Can’t say we don’t see this coming America. Obama is going to use the BP oil spill to push through cap and trade and he’s going to screw the heck out of Americans to get it done so do be careful what you ask for. Obama is itching to give it to you. Just like Sharpton said that those who voted for Obama voted for socialism. Just like Rahm Emanuel said, never pass up a good crisis.
Don’t believe me? Watch! Better yet check out the following posts:

Taking Advantage of a Good Crisis: Oil tax increase would help pay to clean up spills
By now you should be getting the point. And the point is that this is looking less and less like an accident every day and more like a much awaited opportunity.

This is how he’s seen from the UK. Despite everything, for now, I still believe in him.
While I respect your views and I do, I thought I’d share the following from the Telegraph.co.uk:
U.K. fury over Obama’s ‘BP-bashing’
I am disappointed in him by his attacks on “British Petroleum”. BP is no more a British company than it is American, so it was a cheap, almost racist slur. These are the facts:

Yours is a great post today Peter. You made some valid points and yes the demonization of “BP” is intentional and abhorrent. It is also the road to Obama shoving his CAP AND TRADE legislation down our throats. At least ONE of our senators stood up this morning calling out Obama for bullying and shaking down BP.
There are American corporations who must be held accountable as they are responsible for their role in this disaster as well and I cannot in good conscience ignore that reality. BP must not be made the scapegoat, EVERYONE with their hand in the pot must be held responsible. Anything less is wrong.
And as far as this fund is concerned, a part of me really wished that BP would have stood up to the Obama administration because Obama and cohorts are going to pilfer that fund dry.
That’s a worry isn’t it? I must confess, $20 billion sitting there. Anyone would be tempted wouldn’t they, particularly when times are tight?
Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes. $20 billion (for starters) and the temptation must be in abundance especially since we have an administration in place that is using returned TARP funds for whatever they deem fit. The news just keeps getting worse, doesn’t it?
