It’s ashame that the state of Arizona show incompetence to deal with an issue like immigration, weakness and poor legislation that will backfire to the state of Arizona. Secure the borders of Arizona is one thing, create a racist law against Latinos is another. I’am all for secure the borders and put extra patrolmen and upgrade and increase surveillance cameras along the borders, but with this law is like instigating and confront one group with the other, that to me is immoral and discriminating against a group of people or race. This is unlike America, we have advanced so much on racism, this will set us back several decades.
Don’t blame the state of Arizona.
Put the blame where it belongs and that is with the federal government. Had they addressed this issue appropriately not just during the Bush era but Clinton era as well, we would not be in this dilemma. When the federal government fails its citizenry, then the state must act. Arizona’s hands were forced.
The funding for protecting our borders, the virtual fence including surveillance were cut by guess who, the Obama administration which helped to further exacerbate an already explosive situation.
Americans are dying, being kidnapped and run from their homes, there are those who do not seem to care or even want to hear about it starting with the man in the Oval Office. Country first and it’s about time we as a nation get back to that.
The law is not about discrimination or race. Such accusations is nothing more than progressive propaganda and tainted realities aka LIES. This is actually a good law that is getting a bad rap, one upon which progressives have declared war. Enter lies, tainted realities, myths and the progressive propaganda machine, ie., the media. It’s time Americans stop drinking the Obama brand kool-aid and Progressive brand coffee. It’s bad for digestion and the country. It’s dividing the country.
Americans MUST for the sake of our country wake up and STEP OUT OF THE BOX and realize that the cries about racism, racial profiling, discrimination, etc. is a red herring intended to distract from the agenda at hand and to stifle the voices of those in opposition to a progressive agenda. What painfully saddens me is the many indoctrinated Americans of whom the truth escapes. WAKE UP AMERICA PLEASE!!!!
This is about Americans standing up for our rights and our freedom. We have a government that is trampling the rights of Americans for the rights of those who have no rights because they are even before the passage of SB 1070 ILLEGAL.
Immigration reform must be done the right way. That is the only way and finally those who are guilty should stop placing blame elsewhere, spreading lies and man or woman up.
I disagree with this law, because it targets a group of individuals which 99 % happens to be Latinos and because it dictates and delegates extra responsibilities from another entity to the men in uniform whom will be overwhelmingly not capable of doing there regular duties plus handling immigration issues. No to mention the resources necessary to train the police on immigration law and the time consuming when processing and investigating every single person who is stopped by police. So I don’t think it’s a good law, like you try to put it. And when you said that immigrants don’t have rights, that is just dumb and ignorant. you are very wrong, every human in the world has rights.
