This year’s New York State primary election is September 14, 2010.
“State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s still holds near two-to-one leads over his three top Republican opponents, including newcomer Steve Levy, in the race for governor of New York.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in the Empire State finds Cuomo leading Levy 50% to 26%. Seven percent (7%) like some other candidate, and 17% are undecided.
The likely Democratic nominee leads former Congressman Rick Lazio 52% to 29%.At the beginning of March, he posted a 55% to 30% lead over Lazio. In surveys running back to September, Cuomo’s support against Lazio has ranged from 54% to 65%, while Lazio’s high point to date was in January when he picked up 35% of the vote….
Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino, who has been courting the Tea Party vote, trails Cuomo 51% to 28%. In the previous survey, Cuomo had a 56% to 27% lead. Six percent (6%) again like some other candidate. Fifteen percent (15%) are undecided.”
I sent State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo a letter last week via fax, mail and email asking Cuomo to challenge the validity of H.R. 3590 and the mandates therein. Almost immediately upon hitting the send button, I received back the usual form letter email. I also made calls to no avail.
To date, I have not heard back from Andrew Cuomo. I acknowledge that Andrew Cuomo is a Democrat, running in this year’s election for governor of New York State and Barack Obama’s chosen one.
I also acknowledge that Andrew Cuomo is still the AG for New York State and by not challenging the validity of H.R. 3590 and its mandates that he is negligent in doing his job. Am I surprised? No.
Andrew Cuomo will not represent the people of New York but will instead do the bidding of Barack Obama. We must find a viable candidate to stand behind. Andrew Cuomo is not the one.
