Anyone working in Manhattan on any given day will witness scam artists running the shell game on anyone foolish enough to part with their money.

 

I hate scam artists, con men and thugs. I hate the fact that they too often take advantage of those least able to protect themselves.

 

What is the worse kind of con artist?  Answer, the man or woman who cons a child or young adult.

 

Barack Obama has come up with a plan called the AMERICAN OPPORTUNITY TAX CREDIT. which states:

This universal and fully refundable credit will ensure that the first $4,000 of a college education is completely free for most Americans, and will cover two-thirds the cost of tuition at the average public college or university and make community college tuition completely free for most students. Recipients of the credit will be required to conduct 100 hours of community service.

Since nothing is ever free, let us do the math.  A young man or woman soon to graduate from high school, applies for funding under Obama’s plan. He or she figures that all she has to do is 100 hours of community service. This young man or woman finds that this deal is too good to be true and goes with it.

 

Four thousand dollars does not go far. For the first 4 years, said student gives a total of 400 hours in community service. How is that calculated? Is it based on minimum wage pursuant to the state you live in?

 

Example: The minimum wage in New York State is $7.15 an hour. After doing 100 hours of community service for 4 years, you have repaid $2860, which leaves a balance of  $1,140.  After a little less than 2 more years of community service, the $4,000 in actuality would have been repaid by community service.  (Bear in mind, that depending on the state of residence, the years of community service would be higher in order to reach the repayment of $4,000.)  In lieu of this fact, one would think that community service would end here. Right?

 

WRONG.

 

Herein lies the scam, the part of the deal that gets funky, i.e, the fine print.  According to Obama’s website,  “Recipients of the credit will be required to conduct 100 hours of community service.”

What Obama fails to say is that the 100 hours of community service is per annum to be completed either during the school year or during the summer.

 

• Require 100 Hours of Service in College: Obama and Biden will establish a new American Opportunity Tax Credit that is worth $4,000 a year in exchange for 100 hours of public service a year.

Now to the next part of that scam.  Obama’s plan is contradictory.  On Obama’s cover webpage, he clearly states “the first $4,000 of a college education is completely free for most Americans” and yet on another page he states “$4,000 a year in exchange for 100 hours of public service a year.”

 

The way a grifter cons his mark is to convince him he is getting something for free. I reiterate, nothing is free.  Obama is playing the shell game here. The plan does not indicate if or when the community service will terminate.  Is it 100 hours per year until the day you die? What? If that is the case, then the government will have slaves for life to utilize where and when they please. Starting to sound like a Marxist society.

 

Now say this young man or woman who has gone to college under Obama’s plan after 15 years of community service decides he or she has done enough community service. Does Marxist Obama decide that this person has reneged on his or her agreement with the government and decide to take action or what?  Again, where does the community service end  and what does community service entail?  Students need to think about this. Obama has a Marxist mentality and the United States does not have a draft.

 

Furthermore, what good is $4,000 dollars a year? The cost of college tuition is clearly through the roof today, community college, state or otherwise. One thing is for certain $4,000 will not do a thing.  For those who do not have it, sure, it is more than they have.

Also, the majority of the students who would even qualify for this plan will have to buy books, school supplies, etc. which means they will have to work while going to school and studying in an effort to keep their grades up. 

 

These students as so many others will not qualify for student loans through the banks because of the dire state of banking system for which we thank Barack Obama and his merry band of thieves. (That is another blog, in the meantime, Google Obama and the Banking Meltdown.)

 

 

Obama courts the young because the young are impressionable.  The young often believe that they are the ones running the show, when the shoe in reality is on the other foot.  The young do not realize that they are being had until the deed is done.

 

This makes Obama a con artist, a grifter, a thug. Obama is no different than the crack dealer of the 80’s who gave crack away free to children and told them it was candy in order to get them hooked on crack.  He is no different than the today’s drug dealer who stands outside of schools giving metamphetamines disguised as the candy pop rocks or gummy bears away free to children in order to get them hooked.  These are ugly metaphors to describe Obama, because he is who he is.  And once everyone is hooked, then the games begin.

 

Obama’s plan is to reel in the young, the innocent getting them hooked on Obama. Many of whom already are hooked on Obama, many of whom will “get in your face” shouting the rhetoric of Barack Hussein Obama.

 

The sad part is that these Obamabots will not know they are hooked until it is too late.
